International Conference on Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry
(CAAG2010) will be organised during December 06 to December 10, 2010 at the
Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.



This conference is financially supported by the National Board for Higher
Mathematics (NBHM) and partially by the Department of Mathematics
(UGC-Conference Grant) and Department of Computer Science, Indian Institute of
Science, Bangalore.



Three days December 07, Tuesday ; December 08, Wednesday and December 09
Thursday will be dedicated to honour three of our senior colleagues :


Professor Balwant Singh (CBS/IIT Bombay)
Professor Uwe Storch (Ruhr University Bochum, Germany)
Professor Rajendra V. Gurjar (TIFR Mumbai)


December 10, Friday, afternoon sessions will be devoted to computational aspects of Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry, especially to Groebner bases and Coding Theory.
